Merit Awards and Honour Cards

We honour our students to encourage commendable performances in our tests and examinations. Students who secure 90% and above will be awarded with honour certificates and medals. Those securing 80% on aggregate with a minimum of 60% in all subjects are given honour cards. The student who continuously receives honour cards in all examinations throughout the year without break will be asked to sign the HONOUR BOOK in the presence of the whole school: A real reward for academic excellence. IRT (INSTANT RECOGNITION TOKEN) is used as a token of appreciation to improve upon one’s own previous performance in identified areas. It is aimed to promote personal excellence of the students, not interpersonal competition.

Co-Scholastic Activities

opportunities for holistic learning and thereby opens a new world of experience, variety and challenge making each child feels confident of his/ her own abilities and talents. The school provides coaching in Karate, Yoga, Instrumental music, Musical aerobics, Vocal music etc. in addition to SUPW and painting.

Co-Curricular and Spare Time Activities

We believe that class room teaching does not wholly fulfil the role of educating a child. The objective of equipping the child for life to meet both its challenges and crisis needs a totally varied educational programme outside the four walls of a class room. Aiming at an all-round development, the school has many club activities and inter- house cultural programmes. Students get enough chances to participate in several competitions organized at district, state and national levels. Picnics and educational tours are also arranged from time to time. Apart from social, science, Maths, English, Malayalam and Sports clubs, our students are actively participating in ‘Nallapadam’ activities, a joint socio- charitable programme with the leading daily Malayala Manaroma. SEED [Student empowerment for environment development], a concept started by Mathrubhumi was introduced in our school with the aim of developing awareness, sensitivity and a positive attitude in children about our environment. Through the activities, we give the message that “cultivating greenery is cultivating culture”. The school has also constituted an eco-club named ‘Aranyaka’ which is registered to receive worldwide funding in favour of nature. The members of the club are involved in a wide range of activities which enable them to acquire general awareness about nature
